So, Particles where getting done, but as i went bored about the transformations needed to modify some of the field forces i was implementing… I jumped to steering wills… already implemented wandering, seek, flee, and arrive.
Some aggregate visualization of these... 'flocks'
EDIT:I have just implemented cohesion and avoidance, only alignment left to have a full flocking system :).
Another year goes by. Time to make a new demo reel. Edited by my dear friend Hernando Noreña.
So, this is the start for my blog… after years of resistance, i’ve really noticed the need to have a log for my projects and thoughts on different subjects.
Mainly, I started learning processing in october 2008, thanks to some destiny arrangements and some planet alignment which let me do something other than work.
As a Multimedia Engineer, it wouldn’t be much of a problem to get started with processing, but at the time, I had worked as a compositing artist for tv commercials and stuff for a couple of years. so, it was kinda a bit hard to start remembering everything else, from the point of view of the artist i had become.
The first absurd challenge for any person without computer programming background in processing is staring at the blank page, no canvas, no tools, just text and the hidden potential of creating whatever you can think of.
In this blog I will try to post a retrospective of my learning of processing and the different projects I’ve been working on.
